Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about our two sourcing routes — private Excel catalogue selection from 50 pcs/style and full custom manufacturing from 200 pcs/color/style — plus lead times, certifications, fabrics, pricing and quality.

Are you a factory or a trading company? +

We are an OEM & ODM apparel manufacturer built around self-owned factories and an integrated supplier network, giving us control over fabric R&D, patterning, production, QC, and logistics.

Where are your factories located? +

We own six factories in China — in Zhejiang (Jiaxing, Haiyan, and Pinghu), Hubei (Huangshi), and Anhui (Taihe) — supported by cooperative (non-owned) production bases in Vietnam and Cambodia.

What kind of production capacity do you have? +

Our six owned factories produce around 515,000 pieces per month, and across the wider group (including cooperative production bases) output reaches 30M+ garments per year — covering activewear, seamless, outerwear, and lifestyle apparel.

What types of clients do you serve? +

We collaborate with international sportswear, outdoor, and lifestyle brands — including Alo Yoga, Gymshark, The North Face, Oysho, ZARA, DKNY, SKIMS, Carhartt, Descente, Seafolly, Twinset, Intersport and others.

What are the two ways to order from Linked Sourcing? +

Ready Styles are selected privately from our current Excel catalogue and start from 50 pieces per style, with at least 15 pieces per selected color and size. After selecting a current style, you can request separately quoted custom-logo development and a paid approval sample; this does not reduce the bulk MOQ. Full Custom Manufacturing starts from 200 pieces per color and style when you need changes to fabric, color, fit, pattern, construction, trims or packaging.

How do you support new or small brands? +

Brands that do not need to develop a product from zero can request our current ready-style Excel catalogue and stock quotation sheet, with orders starting from 50 pieces per style. Full custom development starts from 200 pieces per color and style.

Can you develop products from a photo or reference sample? +

Yes. Our design and technical team can create a complete tech pack based on your reference garment or image.

How long does sampling and bulk production take? +

A standard sample round is normally planned at 7–10 working days after the specification and available materials are confirmed. A standard Full Custom bulk run is normally planned around 30–45 days only after the order-specific production-release package and capacity slot are confirmed. Exact working-day definitions, materials, approvals, dates and dispatch or delivery events must be confirmed for the order; Ready Styles have a separate stock and dispatch path.

Do you provide design trend suggestions? +

Yes. Our design studio releases seasonal trend capsules inspired by global fashion and fabric fairs.

What are your main product categories? +

Nine categories: Active & Yoga (seamless sets, leggings, sports bras, tanks); Running & Cycling (jerseys, windproof jackets, compression tights); Golf & Tennis (polos, skirts, hybrid softshells); Athleisure & Lifestyle (hoodies, sweatshirts, lounge sets); Fashion & Street (vintage-washed denim, oversized fleece, streetwear); Swimwear (recycled nylon and LYCRA® lines); Seamless (Santoni / Shima Seiki whole-garment knitting); Outdoor & Outerwear (bonded, taped, down, and waterproof jackets); Accessories (socks, hats, gloves, and pet apparel).

What technologies and equipment do you use? +

Automatic cutting systems, laser bonding, four-needle six-thread sewing, fuse-type down chamber, seamless knitting, automatic sleeve-fork machines, and digital pressing systems.

What fabrics can you offer? +

Our sourcing and R&D team develops materials such as recycled polyester/nylon, Sorona®, Tencel®, bamboo, PFAS-free finishes, moisture-wicking knits, and thermal bonded fabrics.

Can you customize trims and accessories? +

Yes. We provide custom elastic bands, zippers, silicone logos, reflective transfers, and sustainable packaging options.

What sustainability practices are implemented? +

Over 60% of our production uses recycled or eco-certified fabrics. We prioritize PFAS-free finishes, water-saving dyeing, and energy-efficient processes.

Which certifications do your factories hold? +

We are audited and certified under BSCI, Sedex, OEKO-TEX®, bluesign®, and the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).

How does Linked Sourcing reduce its carbon footprint? +

We use smart energy systems, waste-heat recovery, and digital monitoring to track emissions, with goals aligned to UN SDGs 12 & 13.

Do you use biodegradable or plant-based materials? +

Yes. We offer biodegradable nylon, Sorona®, Tencel™, and bamboo viscose fabrics.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)? +

Ready Styles selected from our private Excel catalogue start from 50 pieces per style, with at least 15 pieces per selected color and size. Full Custom Manufacturing starts from 200 pieces per color and style. Complex fabrics, constructions, trims or techniques may require a higher minimum.

Can you meet my target price? +

Yes. We prepare Good / Better / Best pricing options — balancing material choice, sewing construction, and finishing techniques.

What trade terms and payment methods do you support? +

We support FOB, CIF, and DDP shipping terms. Payment can be made by T/T, L/C, or open account.

Do you manage delivery and customs? +

Yes. Our logistics team coordinates door-to-door delivery, including customs clearance and shipment tracking.

Do you offer paid dropshipping for Ready Styles? +

Yes, paid per-parcel dropshipping fulfillment can be quoted for eligible Ready Styles orders after the applicable 50-piece-per-style product MOQ has been met. It does not create a one-piece wholesale ordering route or reduce the product MOQ. Handling, any storage, parcel packaging, carrier, destination coverage, shipping charges, dispatch timing and returns responsibilities are agreed separately in writing.

How do you ensure consistent quality? +

We use three control stages: IQC for incoming materials, IPQC during production, and FQC before shipment. Incoming and process checks use their own criteria. Final lots can use a buyer-agreed acceptance-sampling plan — AQL 2.5 where specified — with the lot, defect classes, inspection level and current standard edition agreed in writing.

Which testing standards can you meet? +

The test program is agreed for the product, destination market and buyer manual. We can coordinate specified ISO or AATCC methods and third-party laboratory testing for relevant colorfastness, dimensional, strength, weather-protection or chemical requirements. The purchase order should name the exact method and edition, specimen, condition and pass criteria; naming a standards family alone is not a pass result.

Do you allow third-party inspections? +

Yes. We work with SGS, BV, and Intertek for external audits and inspections.

What automation systems are in use? +

Automatic pocket welting, sleeve-fork sewing and pressing machines, alongside smart fabric cutters and real-time production data monitoring.

Do you offer 3D virtual sampling or digital fittings? +

Yes. Our team supports 3D garment rendering and video fit checks.

How do you protect client data and designs? +

We sign NDAs, apply encrypted file transfer, and implement access-level data control.

How do you handle quality issues or complaints? +

We conduct root-cause analysis and issue a CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) report. Compensation or remake is discussed transparently.

How can I start working with Linked Sourcing? +

Send a simple inquiry with your sourcing direction, product type and estimated quantity. For Ready Styles, Jerry will send the current Excel catalogue and stock quotation sheet. For Full Custom, a tech pack, reference image or product idea is enough to begin the discussion.

Where can we meet you in person? +

Our current 2026 schedule includes Première Vision Paris at Paris Nord Villepinte on 1–3 September and ISPO 2026 at RAI Amsterdam on 3–5 November. Exhibition meeting requests for ISPO are available on 4–5 November. Use the dedicated meeting pages linked from the homepage schedule to request a time.

Which global brands has Linked Sourcing collaborated with? +

Leading international brands including Alo Yoga, Gymshark, The North Face, Oysho, ZARA, DKNY, Maje, Theory, Mizuno, Descente, Carhartt, and more.

Do you sign NDAs or exclusivity agreements? +

Yes. We always sign confidentiality agreements and can provide exclusivity for specific designs or materials upon request.

Should I manufacture activewear in China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, or Portugal? +

The right country depends on product complexity, volume, materials, compliance requirements, lead time and landed cost. Linked Sourcing supports ready-style selection from 50 pieces per style and full custom activewear development from 200 pieces per color and style through its China supply chain.
